Alternatives For Symptoms Of Arthritis

Many Americans suffer from the symptoms associated with arthritis. While it is important to consult a health professional, to be certain, you are properly diagnosed, treated, and understand/ are informed, of the options and alternatives, many use a variety of so-called, alternative remedies, in order to seek a degree of relief, with little risk, and fewer side effects. Generally, this is a course of action, when the degree of pain and discomfort, is somewhat, limited, and may, often, help, with reducing some of the symptoms, etc. With that in mind, this article will attempt to briefly review, and discuss, some of the alternatives. However, remember, this discussion is not a replacement for proper medical consultation and examination. 1. Acupuncture: I am a firm believer in using acupuncture, for the temporary relief, or reduction in many of the symptoms and discomforts, associated with arthritis. Discuss thoroughly, with a recommended, licensed acupuncturist, and practitioner, and learn the approach, and possibilities, of treating. Acupuncture works, by using the body's Meridien system and often reduces inflammation, discomfort, etc. It may help, or not, but, there are no known, dangers, and/ or side effects. 2. Herbal and supplements: Many herbs and supplements are believed, to be helpful, in addressing some of the symptoms of arthritis. Most address the inflammation, etc. One of the most popular combinations, is, using glucosamine, with chondroitin, with the hope, of reducing swelling, while hopefully, encouraging, certain cartilage growth, etc. Others have found, using Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3/ 6/ 9) useful, as well. Recently, there have been some studies that indicate using hemp, and hemp seed oil (also known as CBD), either topically, or internally, may be beneficial. However, herbs and supplements might have some side effects or impact on certain prescription medications/ drugs. Do your research, first! 3. Physical therapy: Where one is experiencing the ramifications of arthritis, often, indicates, how effective, and which type of physical therapy, may be beneficial! If it's in one's fingers or hands, squeezing an exercise/ massage ball, might help. If it's in your shoulder, or back, a quality massage, by a professional, trained individual, may provide some relief. Sometimes, therapy accompanied by using Kinesiology Therapeutic Tape, or knee supports (some claim copper-infused, is helpful), is a good approach. Others rave about the benefits of using TENS Therapy! Don't suffer from the discomforts and inconveniences, associated with arthritis, without trying some CBD Oil Canada alternative therapies, and see, if you find them beneficial. The best, healing approach, is a wellness-oriented one, which is based on proceeding with an open - mind and considering options and alternatives.
